Ishigaki Yaima village is located on a hill overlooking one of Ishigaki island's prime scenic spots, Nagura bay. It is a theme park that emulates the good old days of Yaima village, against a backdrop of natural beauty. The old houses that were moved here from the village center are more than 90 years old, and have been designated as national tangible cultural assets.
